Job Title: Client Services Specialist

This key individual will work closely with our Account Management and Production Teams to flawlessly execute our non-profit client’s programs.

Responsibilities include acting as project manager for all aspects of single and multi-channel marketing campaigns, assuring the schedule, cost and quality of each program aligns with agreements made between Concord Direct and its clients.  This includes utilizing channels such as direct mail, online advertising, email marketing and integrated marketing.  Through daily collaboration and exceptional communication with company staff and clients nationally, this position resolves issues, negotiates for resources and assures all aspects of projects are put through each phase required to take the project from initial concept to project completion.  Additionally, this role will be responsible for placing orders for and managing all aspects of variable data processing and resources for all projects.  You will ensure client data, postage, mailing instructions and insertions are approved and executed accurately.  The position also oversees suppliers associated with these activities as needed.

To be successful you should:

• Be energetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Possess a working understanding of the processes associated with developing and producing marketing materials for the non-profit community.  Experience with creative services, direct mail, print production, lettershop or digital marketing is required; experience working with nonprofits a plus.

• Be comfortable and experienced in communicating daily with all levels of management, directly with clients and using all methods of communication including meeting participation, written and oral communications.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication skills.

• Be able to travel occasionally as required.

 

 

 

Job Title: Strategy Director — this role will provide strategic guidance and recommendations in support of our client’s direct response programs.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be involved in developing overarching strategic and tactical multi-channel plans to reach specific objectives including overall messaging, nurturing, activation, cross sell, and win back.  You’ll be responsible for driving strategic and tactical recommendations and implementation of direct mail, email and broader digital programs.  This includes:

• Situation Analysis:   Defining KPIs, aligning with strategic imperatives, assessing product and distribution channels needed to deploy the strategy, and distilling distinctive competencies

• Market Opportunity Assessment:  Review of the competitive environment, identifying list sources and appends needed to understand portfolio, market sizing and segment distribution, penetration and wallet share

• Audience Planning:  Leveraging the client’s segmentation framework, analyzing the financial opportunity, and prioritizing segments for treatment

• Experience Design:  Aligning offers and value props with segment

• Roadmap/Strategic Plan Development:  Based on proven industry “best practice” development of multi-channel fundraising plan

Candidate Profile:

The right candidate will have experience in translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations.  You should have a solid working knowledge of the nonprofit direct marketing industry.  Strong listening skills to understand clients visible and invisible needs are a must. You should be able to easily identify a situation needing resolution, and have the ability to grow accounts using your superior relationship building skills.  Strong analytical skills and experience in direct mail, email and the ability to extend into digital channels preferred.

Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• 6+ years’ client side or agency experience in non-profit

• Experience with working with data, pivot tables, experience with Tableau a plus

• High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, self-confidence and persuasion skills

 

 

 

Job Title:  Account Executive–this role will focus on commercial and non-profit prospects preferably located within the Northeastern region of the United States (Maine to Maryland).  This key individual will be responsible for building sales by prospecting for new clients and generating income by nurturing existing customer relationships. The position also plans, develops and executes sales strategies to achieve desired results.

Main Responsibilities:

In this busy, highly visible position, you will develop a sales pipeline by selecting and qualifying prospects and categorizing them by probability.  You’ll also set target sales figures by determining frequency of prospect meetings and prospect quoting activity. Additionally, you will work with prospects or clients to determine where the client needs help on direct response campaigns and work with our internal team of experts to help remedy the need. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all information needed from the client to produce projects is gathered and act as a liaison between Concord Direct and our client providing excellent communication as the project progresses and if things change. Our goal is always to “Find a Way to Say Yes!”

Candidate Profile:

The right candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker who can develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands the organization's strengths & weaknesses; analyzes market and competition; identifies external threats and opportunities; and adapts strategy to changing conditions.  You should also be an innovator with the ability to create innovative solutions for our clients to help them add impact to their communications and achieve extraordinary results.  You must be confident speaking to groups of people, developing content for and leading presentations.

Other Qualifications:

• Five (5) + years of experience in print/direct mail sales, with a demonstrated track record and experience to independently source and develop business leads and close business with new customers.

• Extensive experience in either the non-profit (fundraising) market or the commercial market with middle market to larger customers.

• A strong understanding of direct mail (including postal regulations) and integrated marketing strategies to develop tailored customer solutions.

• Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to formulate and articulate creative solutions to clients’ marketing challenges.

• A committed results-oriented focus, strong business ethics, creativity, and an ability to work with a team.

 

Job Title: Account Manager

Main Responsibilities:

This key individual will represent and advocate for assigned clients and related sales staff.  Responsibilities include assuring the schedule, cost and quality of each program aligns with agreements made between Concord Direct and its Client.  Through daily collaboration and exceptional communication with company staff and clients nationally, you will resolve issues, negotiate for resources and assure all aspects of projects are put through each phase required to take the project from initial concept to final billing.  Channels serviced include direct mail, online advertising, email marketing and integrated marketing as engaged by the client.  You will also be a key contributor to sales activities, strategic planning and concept development.  The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for all assigned campaigns, exceptional communication skills are a must!

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 5+ years of Account Manager experience required.

• Be energetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Possess a working understanding of the processes associated with developing and producing marketing materials for the non-profit community.  Experience with creative services, direct mail, print production, lettershop or digital marketing is required; experience working with nonprofits a plus.

• Must have sound judgment and a decisive nature.  Successful candidates display the confidence to know when to take responsibility and when to see authorization.

Job Title: Press Room - ALL Positions

Main Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities for our Pressman roles include setting up, maintaining and running web presses.  In this busy role, you will review schedules and jobs prior to press time, read and understand job tickets and layout, and thoroughly communicate a set Make-ready Plan with press crew to assure Make-ready efficiency. You will properly maintain equipment for optimum performance according to established press preventive maintenance procedures and communicate in writing to supervisors any maintenance required for the equipment.   Additionally, you will maintain accuracy of all raw material consumption reports (paper, ink and adhesives). You will also make sure proper packing and labeling materials are available and at press for the job, and that packing is in accordance with job ticket requirements.

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a pressman highly desirable. You should be able to resolve problems in a logical manner and work efficiently in a high paced environment.  A focus on producing a superior product is a must.  You must be able to work overtime, including working 12 hour shifts if needed.

 

 

 

Job Title: Machine Operator

Main Responsibilities:

As a machine operator, you should have the ability to set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle and then keep the machines running to complete assigned work.  This includes controlling and adjusting machine settings (e.g. speed), feeding raw materials in, inspecting the machine and testing the operation of the machines regularly.  You should also be able to fix issues that might occur during the shift and check the output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.  Additionally, you will keep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logs for your shift.
